Privacy notice
Homeneeds is a private business ordering service. This notice describes how the service handles information for ordering, fulfillment, account access and accounting.
Information we use
We store business names and contact details, account names and email addresses, password hashes, orders, item instructions, packing activity and access records. An authorized administrator may connect the business’s QuickBooks Online company. The integration reads customer and product records, base prices, terms, company preferences and invoice information, and creates invoices after administrator approval.
How information is used and accessed
Information supports account invitations, password resets, ordering, packing, invoicing, troubleshooting and audit history. Customers see their business’s ordering information. Staff see information needed for their assigned work. Internal prices, accounting identifiers and accounting history are restricted to administrators. Access is by invitation; public registration is disabled.
Service providers
Hosting, database, file-storage and email providers process information needed to operate the service. The configured services include Vercel, Neon, Resend and Netlify. Intuit processes information exchanged with QuickBooks Online under its own policies. The application does not sell personal information or use QuickBooks data for advertising or AI training.
Sessions and security
Essential cookies maintain signed-in sessions. Passwords are stored as hashes. QuickBooks tokens and exported backups are encrypted. Authorized administrators control account access and may revoke sessions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and requests
Deactivating an account revokes access but preserves order authorship and audit history. Disconnecting QuickBooks stops access through that connection; it does not automatically erase historical orders or accounting records. Contact Homeneeds to request access, correction or deletion. Records may need to be retained for accounting, security, dispute resolution or legal obligations; backups may retain earlier records.
